Bali is the most known city in Indonesia for so many years. It attracted around 4 million foreign tourists last year alone. Being a main tourist destination in the country, Bali offers a lot of amazing places to visit. The list is keep changing from year to year. Here’s few of the new places that I visited in Bali; ranging from luxurious villas to beach club to snack places; that are the “hype” because I’d heard many people rambling about them lately.
THE SANTAI
In hotel wise, The Santai Villas became popular because a lot of Indonesian actress/celebrities had stayed in this beautiful villa. Straight to the topic, in my opinion, they are worth the hype and had performed amazing service. We had a good time staying at their villas and quite satisfied with what we got. I won’t discuss too much about this place because I’ve already made a FULL REVIEW ON THE SANTAI that you can check.

FINN’S BEACH CLUB
Beach club is definitely something you want to visit when you are in a tropical paradise like Bali. There are quite a lot of beach clubs in Bali, and Finn’s is one that I heard the most beside La Plancha and Potato Head Beach Club. Just imagine lying in the beach bed, soaking in the sun, or dipping your body in the infinity pool, while drinking a cold beer and snacking some nachos, with an amazing view of sunset. It couldn’t get any better, to be honest! This place is so cozy, reminded me of what summer holiday should looks like. It has variety of sitting area such as surf bar, dining area, pool bar, and sunset lounge. There’s also music playing by the DJ start at 4 PM. Super cool place and definitely worth the hype!

NALU BOWLS
People are more aware about being more healthy lately. No wonder why healthy snack like smoothies bowl is really popular right now. Nalu Bowls is one place you have to visit in Bali if you really into this trend. It’s healthy, it’s yummy, it’s THE BOMB!
The small booth, which is located in the entrance of The Shelter Café, for sure, always has a long line. The service was quite slow in my opinion, maybe because they always have too many orders. It took about 15-30 minutes for a bowl to be served but the taste is worth the wait. One bowl contents fresh fruits smoothie, granola (best granola I’ve ever tasted!), dried coconut, and fresh fruits, but you can also add additional topping if you want. I visited this place twice in my 5 days stay in Bali. If you can’t already tell, in my opinion, Nalu Bowls is so worth the hype!

GUSTO GELATO
This gelato place is definitely a “hype” right now, because every time we passed by this place, no matter day or night, it always packed with people dying to get some gelatos. We came to this place and bought 10 cups of gelatos (for every cup we can get 2 flavors). So we basically tried 20 flavors or something! LOL! And I’m surprised that they didn’t taste that delicious. I mean, they’re okay, but there are much more places to get gelato or ice cream that tasted better than this one.
I think the reason why it always full because they’re cheap, just IDR 22.000 for a cup of gelato! The place is big but not enough for that amount of customers, the queue was too long and messy even though going pretty fast, a lady behind the counter wasn’t that polite as well when she’s serving us. So for me, it’s NOT worth the hype and I rather get gelato somewhere else that isn’t that hectic.
(Sorry I don’t have any picture because beside it didn’t taste that good, it didn’t look that good either)

So I’ll be needing that unicorn float, thanks. Haha, aw man, Bali is still on my list, and this just made my wanderlust all the more worse!
Hi Kristina! To be honest the unicorn float was the most fun thing we do in Bali! LOL! Hope you can get there asap, Bali is so freaking beautiful and fun!
OMG this definitely looks worth the hype to me! The food looks fantastic, and if that pool was right outside my bedroom I would die! Made me want to fly there now!
Hi Gabby! That pool is exactly outside the bedrooms, and you can even jump right into it from the master bathroom! LOL! There are so much more beautiful places and amazing foods in Bali. You definitely need to go there someday 😉

I love Bali, but I haven’t been to any of these places. I want to go back and stay at the hotel and visit Finns.
